Charyl McAfee-Duncan ARE Support Scholarship
The Charyl McAfee-Duncan ARE Support Scholarship was created in response to the joint NOMA National & AIA Large Firm Roundtable 2030 Diversity Challenge. This challenge seeks to double the number of licensed Black architects by 2030. In addition, after reviewing the NCARB By the Numbers data, DFW NOMA has expanded it’s scholarship to Hispanic/LatinX candidates, who along with Black/African American candidates are recorded to spend more on test taking and study material on average.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to cover the cost of three (3) exams and provides a six (6) month subscription to Black Spectacles through our partnership with AIA Fort Worth. See eligibility requirements below.

Arcadia Texas Inc. Plant Tour
Join us on a tour of Arcadia Texas’ Aluminum Door Manufacturing Plant.
This course will demonstrate the process of building non-thermal and thermally broken commercial swing, slider and bi-folding doors in a manufacturing environment from stock length material to finished product. The plant tour will buide the participants through every step on the design and fabrication process.
